KUNA

KUNA is a soft crossbody bag with a distinctive, slightly trapezoidal silhouette.

The flat back meets a shaped front where sewn-in pleats create volume without a traditional separate base panel. The result is a flexible construction that naturally adapts to its contents and sits close to the body.

Soft construction

KUNA’s volume is created through the construction of the front panel itself.

The sewn-in pleats shape the bag and create space for its contents without making the silhouette unnecessarily rigid or angular. When the bag is less full, it sits flatter against the body, and as it is filled, it naturally gains more volume.

This makes KUNA lightweight, flexible and easy to wear every day.

Thoughtful storage

The bag closes with a zip at the top and is fully lined.

Inside, there is a separate zipped pocket for smaller items you want to keep organised and easily accessible.

The open main compartment makes it easy to carry your everyday essentials without unnecessary internal dividers.

Adjustable shoulder strap

The shoulder strap is sewn in and adjustable.

On most pieces, the shortest length is approximately 105 cm, with an adjustment range of around 20 cm.

Because KUNA is made from recrafted materials, the exact strap measurements may vary slightly between individual pieces depending on the materials and components used.

Small batches, individual variations

Each KUNA is made from recrafted materials, often combining several different textiles.

Colour, texture, tone, pattern placement and smaller details may therefore vary from one piece to another.

Even when two KUNA bags are made from the same combination of materials, they are never identical copies. These variations are a natural part of working with existing materials and give each bag its own character.

Made in Sweden

Each KUNA is individually made in Sweden, one piece at a time.

Materials that have already had a previous life are given a new function and a new expression.

Inside, you’ll find ASSET studio’s handmade copper emblem embossed with an A – a discreet signature detail that accompanies every bag.
